Our May 4th demonstration will feature Damon Harmon!
Damon will demonstrate the effective and proper use of the six basic turning tools.
- Our May 4th meeting was called to order at 6:33 pm Vice-President Johnna Klukas.
- There were 50 members in attendance.
- At approx. 6:40 pm, Johnna introduced Damon Harmon as our featured demonstrator. Damon went on to demonstrate the effective and proper use of the six basic turning tools, thank you Damon.
- At the end of the demonstration, Bill Houwsley presented the Show & Tell turnings that members brought in. Bill passed along one of his turnings to members for a critique, while the rest of the turnings were shown and discussed. It seemed that Jeff Enck’s thin-walled turning, which was pierced and decorated in Bihn Pho fashion drew remarkable attention.
- At the conclusion of the Show & Tell segment, our monthly raffle took place and the evening ended at approx. 8:40 pm.
